Meg and Darkrai can't REALLY understand each other language-wise (though Darkrai does understand every word she says (almost every word anyway) but she can't speak dragon), but sometimes they just yell at each other without really understanding what the other is saying, making it look like they're arguing. Sometimes it's over Meg not paying enough attention to Darkrai, others it's Darkrai stealing her food, causing her to call him fat and then out of indignation he starts screeching and roaring at her, triggering this silliness until someone breaks it up.
